What is the ABCDEFG I Need Money trend?
Updated:
Short answer
It is a lip-sync trend from October 2026. To a short line that runs “A, B, C, D, E, F, G, I need M-O-N-E-Y”, people pull exaggerated faces at the camera, spell the letters and ask for money. It began in a TikTok LIVE battle. MimicZip lets you make the AI version from your own photo.

Where the line comes from
The line was improvised by a comedian during a TikTok LIVE battle: he says he knows his ABCs but not the rest of the letters, sings A to G, then spells out that he needs money. A screen recording posted by @bri_montana__ on 10 October 2026 reached about 1.6 million views.
Lip-sync copies started the same day. On 16 October, @the_nickdarnell posted a 10-second version with bulging eyes, gritted teeth and a lean back in a gaming chair, at about 2.4 million views. Many later clips copy his timing.
How it spread
From around 16 to 18 October, CapCut AI templates appeared. Most of them turn a baby photo into a toddler who pulls the same faces and reaches out for money. People call the sound a new “vocal stim”, a line you cannot stop repeating. The view counts here are our own readings from 21 October 2026, not audited figures.
What stays the same in every version
- One person, close to a front-facing phone camera.
- Over-the-top faces while the letters are spelled.
- A smug turn on “I need M-O-N-E-Y”, often with a money rub.
- A cool lean back or side-eye at the end.
