What is the Bby Wow Guy meme?

The original clip

The clip was filmed at a quinceañera in Múzquiz, Coahuila, in Mexico. @enriquecruzmart posted an early copy on 27 June 2025, and @eve.el.cholo posted it as “El video original” on 24 July 2025. By 18 October 2026 that post was listed at roughly 7.3 million views.

We did not check the view count on TikTok ourselves, so treat it as approximate. We do not name the person in the clip. The credit goes to the accounts that posted it.

How it came back in 2026

In early October 2026, creators began using the clip in green-screen templates. On 12 and 13 October the templates added a sped-up pop track, and people started calling it the bby wow guy dance trend. A clothing brand reposted it on Instagram on 16 October, and the clip reached a much wider audience.

AI versions came next, where one photo replaces the dancer. That is the version MimicZip makes.

What stays the same in every version

• A party at night with string lights and a crowd.
• A dance toward the camera with a sweet bun in hand.
• A big bite, then a long deadpan stare with puffed cheeks.
• A casual turn and a dance back into the crowd.

What is he eating?

The bun is a concha, a round Mexican sweet bread with a sugar topping that looks like a shell. Your video uses a generic sweet bun with a pink sugar-shell top, so it looks close but is not an exact copy.
