What is the Explosion Walk trend?
Updated:
Short answer
It is a movie-style video meme from October 2026: on an empty road at night someone lights a fuse, walks calmly toward the camera, a huge fireball erupts behind them and they end on a peace sign. It spread from one Instagram Reel.
Where it came from
The Reel that made it popular was posted by @juliakors3 on 18 October 2026. It passed 400,000 likes within a week, and AI template sites copied the shot shot-for-shot a few days later.
Why it works
It borrows the oldest action-movie cliché: cool people do not look at explosions. A low, still camera and one simple walk make anyone look like the hero of a trailer.
How people use it
People post it for birthdays, new jobs, break-ups or the last day of exams, as a way of walking away from something. The beats never change: fuse, walk, blast, peace sign.

Questions people ask
Was the original explosion real?
We do not know how the original was made. Ours is entirely AI-made. Either way, never try it yourself.
Why the peace sign?
It is the creator’s ending, and it turns the action cliché into a joke.
