The original clip
The clip people copy is a TikTok post from @y0kun, captioned “24” and published on 2 September 2026. A person talks to the camera in a night parking lot, holds up two red number cards, swipes a hand across the lens, and a car is suddenly parked behind them.
A third-party tracker listed the post at about 4.1 million views on 20 October 2026. We did not check the count on TikTok ourselves, so treat it as approximate.
Why 24
The two cards read 2 and 4, which together make 24. The original post was simply captioned “24”, and the name stuck. Some people also call it the card swipe car trend.
How it spread
Real-car versions followed from late September, from accounts such as @vladkreii and @supercarvicky. The first AI face-swap version on the tracker came from @reapermkv_ on 7 October 2026. From 9 to 12 October, CapCut, Kling and PixVerse tutorials spread the trend, and on 14 October the original creator posted a tutorial on filming it for real.
What stays the same in every version

- A car that is suddenly there, and a reaction with both hands on the head.
Is the car real?
In the original clips the car was a real one, and the swipe hides the cut. In the AI version the car is generated. It is a generic silver-grey sports coupé with no badges, not a copy of any real model.
