What photos work for an Ozil goal video?

Updated:

Short answer

Start with one clear photo of the scorer, and add a goalkeeper photo only if you want one. Each photo shows one subject facing the camera, as a JPG, PNG or WebP file up to 10 MB, between 300 and 6000 pixels on each side. Photos that are blurry, masked or full of people give the weakest results.

Questions people ask

Can I use a selfie?

Yes. A sharp, well-lit selfie works well for the scorer, as long as the whole face is in the frame.

What if my photo is rejected?

A message under the upload box names the problem, such as size, format or shape. Fix it and upload again. Nothing is charged for a rejected photo.

Can I upload a screenshot of a footballer?

No. Footballers and other public figures are blocked, and so is any photo that seems to show one. Use yourself, a friend who agreed, or your own pet or toy.
