Smalltown Boy AI dance prompt for Veo: a copyable prompt

Copy this prompt

A photorealistic vertical comedy dance clip filmed on a phone in a sunny backyard in front of a bright red painted wooden fence, with a green lawn and blue sky. The two characters in the attached photos are the LEAD and the PARTNER; keep each one's face, fur or hair, colours and clothing exactly as in its photo, never merge them, and if one is an animal let it dance upright on its hind legs. The LEAD rushes up to the lens and lets out a long, dramatic wail with hands on head while the PARTNER dances wildly behind. A hard cut swaps them: now the PARTNER wails into the lens while the LEAD dances behind. Another hard cut shows both side by side in front of the fence, dancing in sync and swinging their arms. A last hard cut goes to a low camera on the grass looking up at both against the blue sky, and then both lunge toward the camera and reach out as if to grab the phone, ending on their faces filling the frame. Camera: handheld, close and energetic. Sound: an energetic retro 1980s synth-pop instrumental with a punchy electronic beat and the characters' own comic wails, no lyrics. No text, no logos, no watermark.

How to use it

• Attach the two photos and check whether your tool accepts two reference images. If it takes only one, describe the second character in words.
• Keep song and artist names out of the paragraph. Veo can refuse prompts that name them, so describe the sound instead.
• Tools change often, so check the length and aspect ratio your tool supports and trim the paragraph if needed.
