What is the My Ride Is Here trend?
Updated:
Short answer
It is a Halloween-season trend shot from a moving car: a person or a pet sits side-saddle on a broom beside the window, looks back at the camera, then flies away. It began as a CapCut template in September 2026. MimicZip lets you make the AI version from your own photo.

The first clips
The earliest broom template we found was posted by @brandytuan3245 on 22 September 2026. It shows a street in Vietnam, with riders flying along beside motorbikes, and the second half of the video explains how to use the CapCut template.
On 27 September, @rora_dd filmed the scene from a car at a suburban intersection in the United States and captioned it “¡Ya llegó mi transporte!”. That line means “my ride has arrived”, and it gave the trend its name.
How it spread
On 28 September, @shaseighthenesl114 posted a Portuguese tutorial with a rider on a broom at a red light who flies off when the light turns green. At roughly 1.6 million views, it is the most-watched real-person version we found. The view counts here are our own readings from 21 October 2026, not audited figures.
Around 18 October, a funny ending appeared in which the rider looks away and hits a road sign. People search for it as “funny flying” or “broom crash”. Halloween fits the broom, so the trend may fade once the holiday has passed.
What stays the same in every version
- The camera is inside a moving car and looks out of the passenger window.
- A rider sits side-saddle on a plain broom beside the car.
- The rider turns and looks at the camera with a calm face.
- The rider flies off, or in the later version crashes.
