What is the Singing Pet trend?
Updated:
Short answer
It is an AI video trend from October 2026. A dog or cat stands in the bathroom after a bath, wrapped in a white towel, holds a hair dryer like a microphone and belts an opera high note. Every clip is 10 seconds and uses the same trending sound.
Where it started
On 14 October 2026 @tinaverrico posted a Rottweiler in a towel singing into a hair dryer, made with a CapCut “Singing Pets” template. Pit bull, boxer and doodle versions followed on 15 and 16 October, and a tuxedo cat joined on 19 October.
Why people copy it
The face sells it: a pet with its eyes shut and mouth wide open looks like a serious opera star. The towel and the hair dryer make it an everyday bathroom moment, and you only need one photo.
The older shower version
A chihuahua “shower concert” clip from December 2025 reached about 4.2 million views. It had the same idea without the towel and hair dryer.
