Can I redo a Smalltown Boy AI video for free?

Updated:

Short answer

A video that fails is refunded automatically, so you pay nothing for it. A full video that rendered correctly is not redone for free: a new run costs 35 credits, even with the same photos. Test your photos with the free 5-second preview first.

Example frame: an orange cat and a grey and white cat stand upright on their hind legs in front of a red fence, in an AI-generated video

What costs nothing

  • Failed generations: the reserved credits come back to your balance on their own.
  • Previews: 1 free preview per account, once for life, plus any bonus previews that come with a pack.
  • Bonus previews: bigger packs add free previews (0 with the $9.90 pack, 0 with the $19.90 pack) for testing new photos.
  • Unused packs: you can ask for a refund within 7 days.

What costs credits

Every new full render uses 35 credits, even with the same photos, because it is a new AI run with a new result. Spent credits are not refunded for a result you simply like less; see the refund policy for the exact rules.

Questions people ask

Is a failed video charged?

No. The credits are reserved at the start and returned if the run fails.

How do I avoid paying twice for a bad result?

Always run the free preview first and fix the photos using the face and roles guides.

Can I get my money back instead?

Only for packs you have not used, within 7 days of buying. Email support@mimiczip.com to ask.
