What is the Missed Train Dance AI trend?

Updated:

Short answer

It is a comedy video format. Someone sprints down station stairs, the yellow doors close in their face, they drop to their knees, then get up and dance on the platform as if nothing happened. AI versions swap in a new person or pet, and the joke is how fast the despair turns into joy.

Where it came from

The live-action series is by @zacjeremiah: an early take on 11 February 2026 reached about 6.2 million views, and the kneeling take we follow, from 5 May 2026, about 10.3 million.

The AI wave began on 18 October 2026 with a template post by @tentaclesdancehub, followed by @capcutdailies on 22 October at about 681,000 views. Counts were read on 26 October 2026 and not audited.

Why people copy it

  • The contrast is instant: panic, a kneel, then pure joy.
  • It is easy to recognise: yellow doors and a platform tell the story in a second.
  • It works for anyone: a friend, a boss, a grandpa or a pet in the lead.

Questions people ask

Is the station real?

The live-action clips were filmed on a real platform. The trend versions, and ours, are AI-generated.

Why the yellow doors?

They are the visual signature of the original clip, so every version keeps them.

How long is the clip?

Our full video is 15 seconds, like the take it follows.
