Who can be in a Puerto Rican Mami AI video: pets, friends or a clone?

Updated:

Short answer

Any pair works: two adult friends, two pets, a person and a pet, or one photo twice. Add the same photo to both boxes and you get two identical copies of that person or pet, each doing their part. Everyone shown must be an adult who agreed.

Example frame: a woman in a yellow hoodie and a man in a green hoodie dancing side by side on a covered walkway at night

Pairs that work

  • Two friends: two adults, one photo each, with their OK.
  • Two pets: a cat and a dog, two dogs or any other two pets, each standing upright.
  • A person and a pet: you on one side, your pet on the other.
  • A clone: the same photo in both boxes, each copy doing its part.

How the clone works

When both boxes hold the same photo, MimicZip tells the model to draw that subject twice, as two identical copies. Two different photos look a little more natural, but the clone is the quickest way to make the trend alone.

Questions people ask

Do pets really stand up and dance?

In the video, yes: they stand upright on their hind legs like little people. The model invents the moves, so it looks like a cartoon come to life.

Can I use a photo of a minor?

No. The site only accepts adults and pets. Photos of anyone under 18 are blocked.

Do I need my friend’s permission?

Yes. Every person shown must be an adult who agreed to be in the video.
