It is a TikTok format that has been going since 19 August 2026: a fixed selfie-style close-up, a face that stays still and hands from outside the frame adding foundation, concealer, eyeliner, lashes and lipstick one after another. Several posts carry TikTok’s AI label, and the biggest numbers are about 7 million.
Where it came from
The earliest AI-marked post we found is @youngcapcutg’s of 19 August 2026 (about 1 million views), followed by @filtercity6 on 21 September (about 985,000) and a third account on 24 September (about 1.6 million), then a tutorial by @maodou50 on 11 October (about 7 million). All use a CapCut template and the same sound, “original sound – DanceHubLux”.
What happens in the clip

- 1.5–4.5 seconds: a hand dabs foundation, then concealer and blush.
- 4.5–6 seconds: eyeshadow and a winged liner.
