What is the Mickey D’s Dance trend?

Where it came from

The post we follow is @obengaffect’s video of 28 October 2026 (3,245 views, 9 seconds), real footage with no AI label. The dance began with the same account’s post of 23 October (about 161,000 views), and a two-person cover by @notmikeuh followed on 28 October (about 13,000).

What happens in the clip

• 0–2s: The two of you face each other, then turn a little toward the lens, rolling your hands round each other in front of your chests.
• 2–4s: You stand side by side facing the lens, still rolling your hands and nodding to the beat.
• 4–6s: Both of you hold up peace signs in front of your chests and grin at the lens.
• 6–7s: The one on the left flicks a low wave to the side while the one on the right raises an arm high and waves.
• 7–8s: Together, you run out of the frame, leaving the empty car park behind.

Why people try it

It is easy to copy and fun in pairs: a simple hand roll, a peace sign and a quick run off. It is still small and new, so we cannot say how far it will go.
