What is the Milkshake Ceiling Fan Dance trend?

Where it came from

The post we follow is @tugboat_spenny’s video of 24 October 2026 (about 1.1 million views, 15 seconds), real footage with no AI label. The same account posted a longer follow-up on 29 October (about 453,000 views) and kept the same fan shot.

What happens in the clip

• 0–2s: You face the phone on the fan, tilt your head and mouth the words, with the ceiling light fixed at the top of the frame.
• 2–4s: The room turns while you sway side to side, pop a shoulder and press a hand to your chest.
• 4–6s: You turn your back to the lens for a moment, then swing round again with a big wave.
• 6–8s: You lean right up to the lens, grinning, still mouthing the song as the room carries on turning.
• 8–10s: You turn out of the frame and come back round wearing pink-lensed glasses, then hold a pleased pose.

Why people try it

It is fun to watch: a loose, silly dance in a room that never stops turning, and a small joke with the glasses at the end. It is big and still new, so we cannot say how long it will last.
