Cardo Dinner AI: price, photos, free options and FAQ
Updated:
Short answer
Cardo Dinner is paid with credits, not a subscription. A credit makes one 10-second 720p clip with no watermark. Choose $8.99 for 1 video, $16.99 for 3 or $25.99 for 5; credits do not expire and nothing renews by itself.

The numbers
- Per clip: 1 credit, which is roughly $8.99, $5.66 or $5.20 depending on the pack.
- Per photo: the second photo for the feeder costs nothing extra, and neither do the room, the snack or the nail colour.
- Per month: nothing. There is no plan to cancel.
Extra snacks, same price
A bigger pack lets you serve one diner a mozzarella stick first and a cheese pizza slice next, then post whichever stretches best. Leftover credits are valid on every other template on MimicZip.
Bonus previews and refunds
Each pack comes with watch-only previews: 1, 3 and 5, from the smallest pack up. They are a bonus, not a free tier. If you change your mind, an unopened pack can be refunded within 7 days, as set out in the refund policy.
Can I make a Cardo Dinner AI video without paying?
Not on MimicZip. There is no free tier and no free preview for Cardo Dinner; a full 10-second 720p clip costs 1 credit and packs start at $8.99. Every pack carries watch-only previews so you can test the diner photo, and there is no subscription.

Free alternatives
You can film it yourself with a friend who has long nails and a cheese stick that really stretches, or look for a template inside a video app and read its current plan. We have not checked those plans, so we say nothing about what they include.
A one-photo result with your own face or pet at the table and a snack of your choice is what MimicZip adds, and it is paid.
What a run involves
- One required photo: the diner. A feeder photo is included at the same price.
- Choices: six rooms, five snacks, five nail colours, five lights, 9:16 or 16:9.
- Price: $8.99 for 1, $16.99 for 3, $25.99 for 5; each clip is 10 seconds at 720p.
- Previews: 1, 3 and 5 with the three packs, 5 seconds at 480p, watch-only.
The reason for the price
The clip is rendered by a paid AI video model, with sound, so every try costs us money. A render that fails gives the credit back, and an unused pack can be refunded within 7 days.
Which photo works for a Cardo Dinner AI video?
Use one sharp, well-lit photo of a single person or pet facing the camera, from the head down to the chest or lower, with the mouth visible. Children, group photos and pictures with no clear subject are not accepted. JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 10 MB, 300 to 6000 pixels per side.

Photos that work
- One person or pet, facing the camera, with the whole face lit.
- From the head down to the chest or lower, so the diner can sit at the table.
- A plain background, because the room replaces it.
- For a feeder photo: a clear hand and sleeve are enough, and the face does not matter.
Photos to avoid
- Anyone under 18.
- Group photos, sunglasses, masks or a face half covered by hands.
- A photo with food already in the mouth.
- Celebrities, anyone who has not agreed, or frames taken from another video.
Questions people ask
Do credits expire?
No. They stay on your account.
Is there an automatic renewal?
No. Each pack is one payment.
What if the cheese does not stretch and the render fails?
A failed run gives its credit back by itself.
Is a card needed to look around?
No card is asked for until you choose a pack at checkout.
My account says the free preview is gone. Why?
Free previews were switched off for all accounts. Bonus previews arrive with each pack.
Can the preview be downloaded?
No. It is watch-only; only the full video is 720p and downloadable.
Does the feeder photo need a face?
No. Only the hand and the arm are used, and the feeder's face never appears in the video.
Can I use a selfie?
A selfie works if it is sharp and shows the shoulders; the diner sits at a table, so a photo with more of the body also fits.
Does the diner need to smile?
No. A neutral face works, because the satisfied chewing is generated.
