Chipmunks Dance AI: price, photos, free options and FAQ
By MimicZip Team · Updated:
Short answer
No subscription, and credits never expire. A Chipmunks Dance video costs 1 credit per 15-second 720p clip with no watermark, for one dancer or three: 1 for $8.99, 3 for $16.99, 5 for $25.99. Each pack includes watch-only previews.
What the credit pays for
A credit pays for one finished clip: the spins, the finger circles, the swap and the rush at the camera, 15 seconds in all, whether you add one photo or three. The options (six places, five outfits, five skies and five endings) make no difference to the price. The price comes to about $8.99, $5.66 or $5.20 a clip.
Room for another try
With three dancers spinning and swapping, a second run with different photos sometimes keeps the faces apart better. With 3 or 5 videos in a pack you can try another set of photos or an ending, and credits you do not use carry over to any template on MimicZip.
Previews, refunds, renewals
- Bundled previews: 1 ($8.99), 3 ($16.99) and 5 ($25.99). They are not free and cannot be downloaded.
- If a run fails, the credit comes back without a request.
- Packs you have not used qualify for a refund in the first 7 days (refund policy); spent credits do not.
- No renewal, ever.
Is there a free Chipmunks Dance AI video generator?
No. MimicZip has no free Chipmunks Dance version and no free preview. A finished 15-second 720p clip costs 1 credit and packs start at $8.99. Every pack includes watch-only previews, and there is no subscription.
The original on TikTok, and what is free there
The trend is a 25-second TikTok by @bopieandjo from 27 October 2026, with about 5.8 million views: three people in a row on a green court at sunset, spinning, drawing circles with a finger and swapping places. You can watch it for nothing on TikTok.
What we sell is a version made from your own photos, with a court, a sky and clothes made up for you.
What a Chipmunks Dance run takes
- Photos: one to three photos of adults, pets, toys or drawn characters facing the camera, whole body or head to knees. No children.
- Free choices: 9:16 or 16:9, six places, five outfits, five skies and five endings.
- Cost: 1 credit for the 15-second 720p clip, without a watermark, whether you add one photo or three. $8.99 buys 1 video, $16.99 buys 3 and $25.99 buys 5.
- Previews: 1 in the $8.99 pack, 3 in the $16.99 pack and 5 in the $25.99 pack. A preview is the same 5-second scene at 480p, with a PREVIEW badge, and cannot be downloaded.
Why this is a paid tool
Each render uses a paid AI video model, and a 15-second clip with three moving dancers is among our costlier scenes, so there is no free version. MimicZip is independent and not made, endorsed or licensed by @bopieandjo.
What photos work for a Chipmunks Dance AI video?
Upload one clear photo per dancer, up to three, facing the camera in good light. The lead’s photo is required. Everyone is seen full-length and spinning, so a clean outline helps. Files must be JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 10 MB, with each side between 300 and 6000 pixels.
File rules
- JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 10 MB.
- Each side between 300 and 6000 pixels.
- Width-to-height ratio between 0.4 and 2.5.
What makes a good photo
- One subject per photo, facing the camera.
- Whole body or at least head to knees: the dancers are seen full-length.
- Good light and a clear face; the model copies your colours.
- Hair or fur away from the face, because it will swing during the spins.
Who you may upload
This template takes adults, pets, drawn characters and toys, never anyone under 18, and anyone you upload must be fine with it. See the photo consent rules and the acceptable use policy.
Can I change the place, the clothes, the sky and the ending in a Chipmunks Dance AI video?
Pick from six places (an outdoor green court by default), five outfits (your own look by default), five skies and five endings. The camera, the order of the beats and the positions are the same in every option: the lead in the middle. The options do not change the price.
Place
Outdoor green court (default), Backyard lawn, School sports field, Sandy beach, City rooftop and Park lawn.
Outfit
My own look (default), Soft loungewear, White tees and jeans, Matching black tracksuits and Pastel hoodies.
Sky
Pink-orange sunset (default), Golden hour, Clear blue afternoon, Purple dusk and Soft grey overcast.
Ending
Rush the camera and jump (default), Jump on the spot, Run in and pose, Spin and pose and Take a bow.
What stays fixed
The fixed wide camera, the order of the beats and the positions stay the same in every option: the lead in the middle, the other two on either side.
Questions people ask
Do credits expire?
No. A credit is yours until you spend it.
Does a third dancer cost more?
No. One credit buys the clip whether it has one dancer, two or three.
Can I get a refund?
Only an unused pack, inside 7 days. Once a credit has produced a clip, it is not refundable.
Do I need a credit card for a free preview?
There is no free preview. You can look at the options with your photos before paying; you pay once, at checkout, when you choose a pack.
Can I watch the original for free?
Yes. The original post by @bopieandjo plays on TikTok, and this page links to it. We only make your own version from your photos.
Is the preview the whole clip?
Close. A preview shows the same 5-second scene at 480p instead of 720p, so you can check your photos first. It carries a badge and cannot be downloaded.
Can I use a photo of the sisters from the original?
No. Photos of celebrities or famous characters are blocked, and so is anyone who looks like a child. Use yourself, adult friends who agreed, or your pets.
Do the photos need to match?
No. Use any photos you like. The court, the sky and the clothes are generated, so any background works.
How long are my photos kept?
They are stored privately and deleted automatically 14 days after upload.
Do the options cost more?
No. The price is the same for every option.
Are the options tested?
The defaults are the ones the scene was written around; the others are marked New in the generator and have not been run on their own yet.
Can I type my own option?
No. This template has presets only, with no free-text prompt.
