What is the Convertible Coffee Drive trend?

By MimicZip Team · Updated:

Short answer

A photo becomes a cinematic drive: an aerial shot follows a red convertible, the camera glides down, and a close-up shows you with sunglasses, windblown hair and a coffee. Clips of the open-convertible drive on TikTok go back to 18 August 2026; the coffee is this template’s own take.

Where it came from

The drive appeared on TikTok on 18 August 2026. The post we follow is @ansaltaev’s video of that day, labelled as AI; it has no coffee, so the coffee is our addition.

What happens in the clip

  • 0–3s: A high shot looks down on the road as the convertible drives along it.
  • 3–6s: The camera glides down and tracks beside the car as it drives past with the top down.
  • 6–10s: A steady close-up of you with sunglasses and windblown hair: you lift a coffee cup, take a small sip and smile at the road.

Why people try it

It looks like a short car advert: a quiet road, a glossy car and a relaxed sip. The car, the road and the cup are drawn by the AI around your photo.
