Dog Bartender AI: price, photos, free options and FAQ
Updated:
Short answer
Credits, not a subscription. One credit buys one 12-second 720p Dog Bartender video with no watermark. $8.99 gets 1 video, $16.99 gets 3 and $25.99 gets 5. Credits keep forever, and every pack adds watch-only previews.

Reading the price
- Per video: 1 credit, about $8.99, $5.66 or $5.20 depending on the pack.
- Included in it: any of the six bars, five outfits and five last drinks.
- Not included: nothing extra to buy and nothing that renews.
Same bartender, different bars
If you keep 3 or 5 in a pack, seat the same pet at a neon bar, a tiki bar and a rooftop and post the one you like. Unused credits work on any other template on MimicZip.
Previews and refunds
Packs include watch-only previews, 1, 3 and 5, as a bonus rather than a free plan. A pack you have not used can go back within 7 days (refund policy).
Is there any free way to make a Dog Bartender AI video here?
No. MimicZip offers no free version and no free preview of Dog Bartender. A finished 12-second 720p video costs 1 credit and packs start at $8.99. Each pack comes with watch-only previews to try your photo, and nothing is a subscription.

Free options elsewhere
Shooting it yourself needs a dog that waits patiently in glasses, a bar and a helper to make three drinks and light a sparkler safely, and a template in a video app may be free or paid depending on its plan, which we have not checked.
What MimicZip adds is your own pet behind the bar, with a bar, an outfit and a last drink of your choice.
What you get per run
- Photo: one, of a pet or a person.
- Presets: six bars, five outfits, five last drinks, 9:16 or 16:9.
- Cost: $8.99 for 1, $16.99 for 3, $25.99 for 5, each 12 seconds at 720p.
- Previews: 1, 3 and 5, each 5 seconds at 480p, watch-only.
Why not free
A twelve-second clip with sound is one of the longer renders we pay for, so a free tier would not last. If a run fails, you get the credit back.
Which photo works for a Dog Bartender AI video?
Use one sharp, well-lit photo of a single pet or person facing the camera, from the head down to the chest or lower. Children, group photos and pictures with no clear subject are not accepted. JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 10 MB, 300 to 6000 pixels per side.

Photos that work
- One pet or person, facing the camera, with the eyes visible.
- From the head down to the chest or lower, so the bib sits on the body.
- A plain background, because the bar replaces it.
- For a pet: ears and front paws in view, so they can rest on the counter.
Photos to avoid
- Anyone under 18.
- Group photos, a second animal or someone holding the pet.
- A face already covered by glasses or a hat that would clash with the outfit.
- Celebrities, anyone who has not agreed, or frames taken from another video.
Questions people ask
How long are credits valid?
As long as the account exists.
Is there a recurring charge?
No. Each pack is a single payment.
Do I lose a credit if rendering fails?
No. It comes back to your balance on its own.
Do I need to add a card to try it?
No card until you pick a pack.
I saw an old free preview message. Is it still true?
No. Free previews were switched off for everyone; packs bring bonus previews.
Is the preview the full length?
No. It is a watch-only opening; the full video is 720p and downloadable.
Does my pet need to wear glasses in the photo?
No. The video adds them, and a photo that already has glasses can clash with them.
Can I use a selfie?
A selfie works if it is sharp and shows the shoulders; a photo with more of the body helps the bib.
Does the background of the photo matter?
Not much. It is replaced by the bar you choose.
