What is the Fancy Cafe POV trend?
By MimicZip Team · Updated:
Short answer
A first-time visitor sits on a small round steel table, thinking it is a stool, until someone else sits on the ledge and puts coffee on the other table: that is this TikTok format of November 2026. The post we follow has about 615,000 views. The original is a real-person sketch, and in our version you are the two.
Where it came from
The joke started with @leehoustonx’s real-person sketch of 1 November 2026 (about 5.5 million views). The post we follow is @kevkevkiwi’s AI version of 2 November 2026 (about 615,000 views, 21 seconds), and the earliest AI version we found, by @mr.unclelee, came out the same morning.
What happens in the clip
- 0–2s: The first-timer sits on one of the small round steel tables, sipping from a cup and pleased with the seat.
- 2–4s: The regular walks in from the right and heads for the low ledge along the wall.
- 4–6s: The regular sits on the ledge and puts a cup on the other round table.
- 6–8s: The first-timer glances over and freezes mid-sip.
- 8–10s: The first-timer stands up stiffly, sits on the ledge and puts the cup back on the round table.
- 10–12s: Both sit in a row on the ledge with their cups on the tables, looking straight ahead.
Why people try it
It is a one-minute setup: a bare room, a ledge and two small tables. The look on the first-timer’s face is what people watch for. With MimicZip the two roles are yours.
