What is the I'm So In Love With You dance trend?

Updated:

Short answer

It is a two-pose lip-sync meme. Someone faces a fixed camera and sings along with both arms out and fists clenched, then puts their fists on their hips, shrugs proudly and throws their head back. AI versions swap in a new person or a pet.

Where it came from

The sound is a slow love song from April 2026, and its hook, “I'm so in love with you”, became the name of the dance. People mouth the hook with two fixed poses.

On 20 October 2026 @adamlostagain posted the real-person take we follow, at about 1.8 million views on 28 October 2026. It has a small anime-character window in one corner, which is why the trend is often tagged with Dragon Ball. Counts were not audited.

Why people copy it

  • It is only two poses: anyone can learn them in a minute.
  • It is pure pride: fists out, then fists on hips and a proud shrug.
  • It works for anyone: a friend, a parent or even a dog in the lead.
