How do I make a Kitty Knight video?
By MimicZip Team · Updated:
Short answer
Upload one photo of an adult, pet, toy or drawn character, pick the battlefield, the armour, the cape and the light, and MimicZip builds the scene: the knight in the mud, the army, the raised sword and the golden shockwave. Check a 5-second bonus preview, then spend 1 credit on the 10-second 720p video.
Putting your knight on the battlefield
- Open the template page. Use one sharp photo of one adult or pet, whole body or head to knees, looking at the camera. JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 10 MB.
- Choose the battlefield (a muddy battlefield by default), the armour (silver steel by default), the cape (red by default) and the light (grey mist by default). None changes the price.
- Pick 16:9 (the default, as the original is widescreen) or 9:16 for TikTok, Reels and Shorts.
- Consent and sign-in. Tick the photo-consent box and log in with Google. Previews arrive inside a pack, so take one if you have no credits.
- Check the preview. It is watch-only, 5 seconds at 480p, with a PREVIEW badge. Look for your pet’s face staying the same under the armour.
- Render: 1 credit gives the 10-second 720p MP4 with no watermark, saved in My videos. Add your sound in TikTok.
Stand, raise, shine
A low close shot of the knight in the mud (0 to 2 seconds), a wide shot of the army (2 to 4), the sword lifted and glowing (4 to 6), a golden pillar of light and a shockwave across the ranks (6 to 8), then the close shot again (8 to 10).
The hardest part for the AI is the armour and the glowing sword, so a small drift in the face or the blade is normal, not a failed render. The army is generic, with no symbol or text. Treat it as a fantasy scene to watch.

Questions people ask
Do I need to write a prompt?
No. The scene, the camera and the order of the beats are set. You provide the photo and choose the options and the format.
Can I close the page while it renders?
Yes. Rendering carries on at our end, and the finished video is saved under your account in My videos.
Which format should I pick?
Choose 9:16 for TikTok, Reels and Shorts, or 16:9 for YouTube and desktop. A bonus preview works in either shape.
