Street Light Slide AI: price, photos, free options and FAQ
Updated:
Short answer
No subscription: credits are bought once and never expire. For Street Light Slide, $8.99 gets 1 clip, $16.99 gets 3 and $25.99 gets 5; each clip is 1 credit, 5 seconds at 720p, no watermark. Watch-only previews come with every pack.

Pricing a five-second effect
Street Light Slide is short, so the real question is how many tries you want. Each try is one credit and one 5-second 720p render, whichever of the six places or six outfits you choose. The three packs work out at about $8.99, $5.66 or $5.20 a try.
Trying more than one entrance
The empty beat and the moment you slide in change from run to run, so many people keep the best of two or three renders. Bigger packs make each try cheaper, and whatever is left over can be spent on any other template on MimicZip.
Previews and money back
- Previews: 1 come with the $8.99 pack, 3 with $16.99 and 5 with $25.99. They show the same scene at 480p and are watch-only; none is free.
- A render that fails gives its credit back by itself.
- An unopened pack can be returned inside 7 days; the refund policy has the steps. A credit spent on a finished clip is not returned.
- Renewals: none. You pay once per pack.
Is there a free Street Light Slide AI video generator?
Not for free. Street Light Slide has no free version and no free preview on MimicZip. One finished 5-second 720p slide-in clip from one adult photo costs 1 credit, and packs start at $8.99. Every pack includes watch-only previews, so you can see the entrance before spending a credit. No subscription.

The free route is CapCut templates
This effect first spread through CapCut templates around 20 October 2026, and the post we follow is @dreamina_tao's AI Slide Transition Effect video from 22 October, with two tutorial posts showing how people make it from one photo. A template runs inside its own app on its own plan, which we have not checked today, so look there for what is free.
The catch is the structure. The whole effect is only 5 seconds and depends on an empty beat: a tiny figure slides away down a lamp-lit path (0 to 0.5 seconds), nobody is in the shot (0.5 to 1.5), then you slide in from the lower left at about 1.5 seconds. When a generator puts you in the frame from the start, the effect is gone. MimicZip aims at that timing from one photo.
What a Street Light Slide run needs
- One photo of one adult: ideally chest-up or waist-up, face sharp and front-facing, nobody else in it. Pets, toys and anyone under 18 are not accepted.
- Free choices: 9:16 or 16:9, one of six places (lamp-lit path, neon corner, seaside promenade, snowy street and more), one of six outfits (your own, black off-shoulder top, leather jacket, white shirt and more) and an optional accessory.
- Cost: 1 credit for the 5-second 720p clip, no watermark. $8.99 buys 1 video, $16.99 buys 3, $25.99 buys 5.
- Previews: 1 with $8.99, 3 with $16.99 and 5 with $25.99. A preview is the same 5-second scene at 480p, with a PREVIEW badge, and it cannot be downloaded.
Why it is paid
Each render uses a paid AI video model. A failed run returns its credit automatically, credits never expire, nothing renews and an unused pack can be refunded within 7 days. MimicZip is independent and is not made, endorsed or licensed by CapCut, TikTok or the people who posted the trend.
What photo works for a Street Light Slide AI video?
Use one clear photo of an adult, ideally from the chest up or the waist up, facing the camera in good light. The shot ends in a close-up, so a sharp face photo gives the best match. Files must be JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 10 MB, with each side between 300 and 6000 pixels. Pets are not accepted.

File rules
- JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 10 MB.
- Each side between 300 and 6000 pixels.
- Width-to-height ratio between 0.4 and 2.5.
What makes a good photo
- One adult, facing the camera.
- Good light and a sharp face; no sunglasses or masks.
- Chest-up or waist-up is enough, because the shot ends in a close-up.
- A face that is easy to see, because the camera is right in front of you at the end.
Who you may upload
Only adults who agreed. This template does not take pets, toys or drawings, and it never takes anyone under 18, celebrities or famous characters. See the photo consent rules and the acceptable use policy.
Can I change the place or the outfit in a Street Light Slide AI video?
Yes, from presets. Places: an empty lamp-lit path (the default), a neon street corner, a seaside promenade, a snowy street, a rainy street or a misty park path. Outfits: the clothes from your own photo (the default), a black off-shoulder top, a leather jacket, a white shirt, a beige trench coat or a grey hoodie. Accessory: none (the default), a red scarf, silver hoops, a pendant, headphones or black gloves. The camera, the slide and the timing stay the same, and the options do not change the price.

Places
- Lamp-lit path (default): a paved path with a kerb, a tree wrapped in string lights and a tall street lamp.
- Neon street corner: a city corner with pink and blue glow on the wet pavement.
- Seaside promenade: a sea wall with a row of lamps and calm dark water.
- Snowy street: falling snow in the cold lamp light.
- Rainy street: light rain on a wet kerb under the cold street light.
- Misty park path: a stone-kerbed path with low mist around the lamps.
Outfits
- Your own clothes (default): exactly what you wear in the photo.
- Black off-shoulder top: a plain black long-sleeve top.
- Leather jacket: a plain black leather jacket over a dark T-shirt.
- White shirt: a crisp white button-up with the top button open.
- Beige trench coat: a long plain coat over a dark top.
- Grey hoodie: a plain grey hoodie with the hood down.
What stays fixed
The slide away, the empty beat, the slide in and the close-up are the same in every option.
The accessory is a third choice: none (the default), a red scarf, silver hoops, a pendant, headphones or black gloves.
Questions people ask
Do credits expire?
No. Credits sit on your account until you spend them.
Will I be charged again automatically?
No. A pack is a one-off payment; there is no monthly charge.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, but only for an unopened pack and only within 7 days. Credits that already made a clip are final.
What does a failed video cost?
Nothing: its credit is returned to your balance automatically.
Do I need a credit card for the free preview?
No card is asked for at login or when you add your photo, since there is no free preview to unlock. You pay once, at checkout, when you choose a pack.
Why does it say my free preview is used up?
Free previews are no longer offered on any account, so an old used-up message does not apply. Buy a pack and its bonus previews let you check the entrance.
Is the preview the whole clip?
Almost. A preview shows the same 5-second scene at 480p instead of 720p, so you can check the empty beat and whether you slide in at about 1.5 seconds; it has a badge and no download.
Do I need a full-body photo?
No. A chest-up or waist-up photo is enough: the shot is a close-up.
Do the photos need a dark or night background?
No. The street is generated, so any background works.
How long is my photo kept?
It is stored privately and deleted automatically 14 days after upload.
Do the options cost more?
No. The price is the same for every option.
Are the options tested?
The default place and outfit are the ones we tested; the others are marked New in the generator and have not been run on their own yet.
Can I type my own place?
No. This template has presets only, with no free-text prompt.
