What does âGimme Purr Gimme Meowâ mean? Other names for it
By MimicZip Team · Updated:
Short answer
âGimme Purr Gimme Meowâ is the name of a TikTok outfit-check trend: someone strikes a few poses on the beat and puts on sunglasses at the drop. It is a trend name, not an official title. It comes from a lyric of a 2025 song.
What the name means
It is the lyric: âgimme purr, gimme meowâ is a line of the song that the clips are set to. âGimme Chi Gimme Purrâ is the line before it, âOutfit Checkâ says what people film and âAIâ marks the made-from-a-photo versions. The version here puts your own photo in the room.
Other names people use
- Gimme Purr Gimme Meow Trend, the plain trend name.
- Gimme Chi Gimme Purr, another line of the same lyric.

- Gimme Purr Gimme Meow AI, the name for the AI versions.
A lyric from 2025, now an outfit check
The lyric took off in early 2025, and people still film outfit checks to it. The clip we follow is from 18 May 2025. What you make here is a plain AI scene with your own photo.
