Parrot Dance AI: price, photos, free options and FAQ
Updated:
Short answer
No subscription, and credits never expire. The Parrot Dance clip costs 1 credit per 10-second 720p video with no watermark: a pack of 1 costs $8.99, 3 cost $16.99, 5 cost $25.99. Each pack includes watch-only previews.
What the credit pays for
A credit pays for one lead dance with a whole flock behind it: the front stance, the wing-out squat, the flaps and the turn to show the back, 10 seconds in all. The place (six), the backup flock (six), the lead outfit (six) and the lights (five) make no difference to the price. The price comes to about $8.99, $5.66 or $5.20 a clip.
A short clip leaves room for a second try
The clip is only 10 seconds and the flock is generated, so a retry is among the cheapest on the site. If your pet’s markings drift, a second run with a sharper full-body photo usually fixes it. With 3 or 5 videos in a pack you can try another photo or option, and credits you do not use carry over to any template on MimicZip.
Previews, refunds, renewals
- Bundled previews: 1 ($8.99), 3 ($16.99) and 5 ($25.99). They are not free and cannot be downloaded.
- If a run fails, the credit comes back without a request.
- Packs you have not used qualify for a refund in the first 7 days (refund policy); spent credits do not.
- No renewal, ever.
Is there a free Parrot Dance AI video generator?
No. The Parrot Dance trend has no free version and no free preview on MimicZip. One finished 10-second 720p clip made from one pet photo costs 1 credit, and packs start at $8.99. Every pack includes watch-only previews. No subscription.
The original trend on TikTok, and what is free there
The trend is a 21-second TikTok by @kennyslowbird from 21 October 2026, with about 8.6 million views: a barn stage, one parrot in a white diaper leading a huge flock of parrots in white diapers through the same hip swings and wing flaps. The author’s hashtags name an AI video tool, so the original is itself AI-made, and you can watch it for nothing on TikTok.
What we sell is a version with your own pet in the lead. Our clip is 10 seconds, the first half of that dance, and the backup flock is generated for you.
What a Parrot Dance run takes
- Photos: one photo of one pet, facing the camera, whole body if possible. No people, toys or drawings.
- Free choices: 9:16 or 16:9, one of six places, one of six backup flocks, one of six lead outfits and one of five lights.
- Cost: 1 credit for the 10-second 720p clip, without a watermark. $8.99 buys 1 video, $16.99 buys 3 and $25.99 buys 5.
- Previews: 1 in the $8.99 pack, 3 in the $16.99 pack and 5 in the $25.99 pack. A preview is the same 5-second scene at 480p, with a PREVIEW badge, and cannot be downloaded.
Why this is a paid tool
Each render uses a paid AI video model. A failed run returns its credit automatically, credits never expire, nothing renews and an unused pack can be refunded within 7 days. MimicZip is independent: your video is generated from your own pet photo and is not made, endorsed or licensed by the author of the original post or by anyone in it.
What photo works for a Parrot Dance AI video?
Use one clear photo of one pet, facing the camera, in good light, with the whole body visible if you can. The pet stands in front of a flock, so a clean outline helps. Files must be JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 10 MB, with each side between 300 and 6000 pixels.
File rules
- JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 10 MB.
- Each side between 300 and 6000 pixels.
- Width-to-height ratio between 0.4 and 2.5.
What makes a good photo
- One pet, alone in the photo, facing the camera.
- Whole body or at least head to belly: the pet dances upright or on its feet.
- Good light and clear markings or feathers; the model copies the colours.
- A plain background so the outline is easy to cut out.
Who you may upload
Pets only: a dog, a cat, a bird, a rabbit or a similar animal. This template does not take people, toys or drawings, and never anyone under 18. See the photo consent rules and the acceptable use policy.
Can I change the place, the flock or the lights in a Parrot Dance AI video?
Yes, from presets: six places (a barn stage by default), six backup flocks (green parrots by default), six lead outfits (a white diaper by default) and five lights. The dance, the camera and the timing stay the same, and the options do not change the price.
Place
Wooden barn stage (default), Small circus tent, Garden party deck, Small concert stage, Seaside boardwalk and Glass greenhouse.
Backup dancers
Green parrots (default), Colourful macaws, White cockatoos, Pink flamingos, Fluffy ducklings and Little penguins.
Lead outfit
White diaper (default), Diaper and red bow tie, Pink tutu, Diaper and blue bandana, Diaper and party hat and Diaper and golden cape.
Lights
Warm golden light (default), Disco lights, Single spotlight, Sunset glow and Cool blue stage.
What stays fixed
The front stance, the wing-out squat, the flaps and the back turn are the same in every option, and the lead is always your pet.
Questions people ask
Do credits expire?
No. A credit is yours until you spend it.
Will I be charged again automatically?
No. There is no recurring billing; each pack is paid once.
Can I get a refund?
Only an unused pack, inside 7 days. Once a credit has produced a clip, it is not refundable.
What does a failed video cost?
Nothing. The credit is returned to you automatically when a generation fails.
Do I need a credit card for a free preview?
No card is asked for at login or when you add your photo, since there is no free preview. You pay once, at checkout, when you choose a pack.
Can I watch the original for free?
Yes. The original 21-second post by @kennyslowbird plays on TikTok, and this page links to it. We only make your own version with your pet in the lead.
Is the preview the whole clip?
Close. A preview shows the same 5-second scene at 480p instead of 720p, so you can check that your pet looks like itself and the flock stays behind it. It carries a badge and cannot be downloaded.
Can I use a photo of a person?
No. This template is for pets. For people, try one of the dance templates on MimicZip.
Does the photo need a barn background?
No. The barn and the flock are generated, so any background works.
How long is my photo kept?
It is stored privately and deleted automatically 14 days after upload.
Do the options cost more?
No. The price is the same for every option.
Are the options tested?
The defaults are the ones the scene was written around; the others are marked New in the generator and have not been run on their own yet.
Can I type my own option?
No. This template has presets only, with no free-text prompt.
