Nothing to subscribe to: you buy a pack once, and whatever credits you do not use stay put. One credit gives you an 8-second 720p Catel Dance video with the watermark left off. Packs come as 1 for $8.99, 3 for $16.99 and 5 for $25.99, each with watch-only previews.
What a credit pays for
Spending a credit produces the complete sequence from your one photo: the bounce, the sleeve swing, the turn and the hands-on-hips finish, 8 seconds from start to finish. The options you choose are free to swap and leave the price alone. Spread over the three packs, that is roughly $8.99, $5.66 or $5.20 for each clip.
Having another try
Sleeves and a full turn are hard for a model. If the face or a sleeve looks off, swap in a sharper, head-to-knees photo and put the two clips side by side. The credit always covers the entire dance, from the first bounce to the last pose. The 3- and 5-video packs leave room for retries, and unused credits carry over to every other template at MimicZip.
Included previews, failed runs and payment
- Watch-only previews: 1 come with $8.99, 3 with $16.99 and 5 with $25.99. They cannot be downloaded, and they are not a free tier.
- A run that fails sends the credit back to your balance on its own.
- A pack that is still sealed can be refunded for 7 days (refund policy); a credit that has produced a clip is not refundable.
- Never a recurring charge.
Is there a free Catel Dance video generator?
No. MimicZip has no free Catel Dance version and no free preview. A finished 8-second 720p clip costs 1 credit and packs start at $8.99; it covers a bright-room dance with swinging sleeves, a turn and a hands-on-hips finish. Every pack includes watch-only previews, and there is no subscription.
The original trend on TikTok, and what is free there
The trend is a 15-second TikTok by @elenabuzaru from 15 April 2026: a fixed camera in a room and a dance with swinging sleeves. You can watch it for nothing on TikTok.

Everything around you is generated (the room and the dance), and each render uses a paid AI video model, so there is no free version. MimicZip is independent and not made, endorsed or licensed by @elenabuzaru.
What photo works for a Catel Dance video?
Upload one clear photo of an adult or a dog looking at the camera in good light, head to knees if you can. The room is generated around you, so a plain background is fine. Files must be JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 10 MB, with each side between 300 and 6000 pixels.

What makes a good photo
- One subject, alone in the photo, looking at the camera.
- Head to knees, facing the camera: the dance shows the arms and sleeves.
- A clear face and arms, so the model can keep them through the turn.
- Good light and a plain background; the model copies your colours.
Who you may upload
The person must be an adult who agreed to appear, or else your dog; children and celebrities are blocked. See the photo consent rules and the acceptable use policy.
Can I change the scene, the outfit and the light in a Catel Dance video?
Pick from five scenes (Bedroom by default), five outfits (Sweatshirt by default) and five kinds of light (Sunny day by default). The camera, the order of the beats and the subject are the same in every option. The options do not change the price.

What stays fixed
The camera, the order of the beats and the subject are the same in every option. Nothing in the options changes the price.
Questions people ask
Do credits expire?
No. Credits sit in your account until you decide to use them.
Will I be charged again automatically?
No. Each pack is a single charge, and nothing renews by itself.
Can I get a refund?
Only a pack that is still untouched, and only within 7 days. Once a credit has become a clip it cannot be returned.
What does a failed video cost?
Nothing is lost: a failed generation gives the credit back on its own.
Do I need a credit card for a free preview?
No. You can look at the options (the scene, the outfit and the light) with one photo of an adult or a dog before paying; you pay once, at checkout, when you choose a pack.
Can I watch the original for free?
Yes. The original post by @elenabuzaru plays on TikTok, and this page links to it. We only make your own version from your photo.
Is the preview the whole clip?
Close. A preview shows the same 5-second scene at 480p instead of 720p, so you can check your photo first. It carries a badge and cannot be downloaded.
Can I use a photo of the person in the original post?
No. Photos of celebrities or famous characters are blocked, and so is anyone who looks like a child. Use yourself, an adult friend who agreed, or your dog.
Does the photo need a bedroom behind it?
No. The room and the light are generated, so any plain background works.
How long is my photo kept?
It is stored privately and deleted automatically 14 days after upload.
Do the options cost more?
No. The price is the same for every option.
Are the options tested?
The defaults are the ones the scene was written around; the others are marked New in the generator and have not been run on their own yet.
Can I type my own option?
No. This template has presets only, with no free-text prompt.
